Sandlin - Schacht
Sara Nicole Sandlin of Leitchfield, Ky. and Joshua Eric Schacht of Shelbyville were married Dec. 21, 2013, at the Grayson County Courthouse in Leitchfield. Judge Executive Gary Logsdon officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Larry and Sharon Sandlin of Keitchfield.
The groom is the son of David and Trudy Schacht of Shelbyville.
Several guests were present at the nuptials: Larry and Sharon Sandlin, parents of the bride; Myrtle and Bobby Hack, grandparents of the bride; P.J. Lindsey and fiancée, Holley Decker, brother of the bride; and Emily Logsdon and Alex Mitchell, friends of the bride.
After the ceremony, the couple took a short trip to Florence, Ky.
The bride is currently a student at Grayson County High School, taking dual-credit courses at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College, all while working at Dairy Queen. In the fall, she will be a full-time student at Murray State University.
The groom is a graduate of Waldron High School. He is serving with the U.S. Army and is currently deployed to Afghanistan.
