Couple wed in outdoor ceremony
An outdoor garden wedding united in marriage Mindy Sue Bride and Joshua Dean Baringer on Sept. 20, 2003, in Floris. The Rev. Richard Friend officiated.
The evening ceremony was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Pearson of Floris.
Parents of the couple are Roberta Roberts of Grand Junction, Colo., Linda McKenzie of Brashear, Mo., and the late Dennis Baringer.
The bride was attended by Shellie Blodgett of Kirksville, Mo., a friend of the bride, and Ramona McCall of Bloomfield, cousin of the bride. The bride was given in marriage by her uncle, Royce Roberts, of Grand Junction, Colo.
The groom was attended by Bradley Shrouf of Kirksville, Mo., friend of the groom, and Cody Baringer of Brashear, Mo., brother of the groom.
Dalis Bride, daughter of the bride, was the flower girl. The bride's cousin Dakota McCall was the ringbearer. Ushers were James Barlow of Kirksville, Mo., friend of the groom, and Shawn Everett of Floris, brother of the bride.
A reception and dance was held following the ceremony, at the Floris Community Hall.
The bride is employed at Ottumwa Regional Health Center in Ottumwa. The groom is employed at Julie's in Bloomfield. The couple will make their home in Floris.
