Casey Lynn Cooley and David William Kent Jr. were united in marriage Saturday, June 13, 1998 at two o'clock in the afternoon at John Wesley Methodist Church officiated by Dr. Jack R. Shelton. Music provided by Terese Webber, harpist and Angela Holley, flutist. Following the wedding a reception was held at Wyndham Greenspoint Hotel-Wedgewood Room. Music proved by Best Entertainment. On the eve of the wedding a rehearsal dinner was held at Lakeside Country Club. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Cooley of Houston, Texas. Granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Cooley and Ms. Joanna Turner. The groom is the son or Mr. and Mrs. David Kent Sr. Grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kent and Ms. Rose Rowley. Hannah R. Johnson, life long friend, of Houston, Texas served as Maid of Honor. The brides maids were Katherine Bennett of Palm Desert, CA, Angela Cooley of Kingwood, Texas, Christa Jasek of Houston, Texas and Amanda Kares of Nashville, TN. Flower girls were Caroline Kent and Rachel Turner and ring bearers were Cody Santor, Corey Santor and John Robert Turner. Serving in the bride's house party were Nicole Barnes of Houston, Robin Forward of Camden AR and Tara Turner of Ulysses, KA. The best man was David William Kent, father of the groom, of Houston, Texas. The groomsmen were Jeremy Antonini of The Colony, Texas, Mathew Kent and Adam Kent of Houston, Texas, Chris Cooley of Kingwood Texas and Jeff Zickefoose, Las Colinas, Texas. The ushers were Keith Flak and T.J. Turner. Casey graduated from Klein Forest High School in 1994 and Southern Methodist University in 1998 with a BA in History and Communication Arts: Public relations, president of Gamma Phi Beta. She is an Account Co-ordinator and is employed by JWG Associates. David graduated from Cy-Fair High School in 1994, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern Methodist University in 1998 with a BBA in Management Information Systems. Member of P. Kappa Alpha, Beta Gamma Sigma. He is co-founder of Beacon Interactive Incorporated. Following a honeymoon trip to St. Thomas-U.S. Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in Dallas, Texas.
