The double ring ceremony was officiated by Reverend Dr. Jim Jackson and Reverend Garry Masterson. Music was provided by the Accent Chamber Music String Quartet, James Wilt, Trumpeter, and Alice Hopkins, Organist. Following the ceremony a reception was held at Houston Country Club with music provided by Commercial Art. On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at the Petroleum Club. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Christy of Houston, TX. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Allen Christy of Houston, TX, and Mrs. Eoline Watson Clewis of San Antonio, TX and the late Mr. Howard Raymond Clewis. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lynn Anderson of Abilene, TX. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Laurel Richard Anderson of Houston, TX, and Mrs. Myra Smith Peel of Denton, TX and the late Mr. Beverly Alfred Peel. Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless diamond white princess line silk mikado gown designed by Lazaro. The gown was embellished with an embroidered English net overlay that continued through the chapel length train. A pearl and crystal encrusted comb held her cathedral length illusion veil. Miss Sally Kathleen Christy, sister of the bride, served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Brooke Brownfield Anderson, Elizabeth Bleiler Burkhart, Amy Anderson Holloway, Allison Anne Holt, Emily Catherine Jorgensen, Kathryn Eleanor Robinson, Susan Estelle Tees, Alyson Morse Toole, and Catherine Grable True. Members of the House Party were Julia Staff Barrett, Anne McIntosh Billipp, Kathleen Ann Christy, Melissa Bryant Gray, Kathryn Leigh Harralson, Anna Kathryn Head, Dana Aristos Kantalis, Emily Warren Rommel, Erin Hunter Scanlan, and Leigh Corinne Taylor. Mr. Robert Lynn Anderson, father of the groom, served as Best Man. Groomsmen included James Michael Anderson, Robert Scott Anderson, Clinton Boyd Bawcom, Scott Alan Carr, Robert C. Christy, Jr., Taylor Lee Curtis, Henry Burton Harkins, III, Charles Dixon Holloway, and James William Stewart. Serving as ushers where Keith Alan Brittain, Scott Allen Christy, Nathan Scott Walters, and Barney Carter Wiley. Other attendants included Benjamin Scott Anderson as a page, Brady Kathryn Anderson as the flower girl, and Hill Dixon Holloway as the ring bearer. The bride is a graduate of Memorial High School in Houston, TX. She earned a B.B.A. in Business Honors and Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She will be employed by Andersen Consulting. The groom is a graduate of Cooper High School in Abilene, TX. He earned a B.A. in History from the University of Texas at Austin where he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. He is currently employed by HealthCare Facilities Development Corporation. Following a honeymoon to Lanai and Maui, Mr. and Mrs. David Anderson will reside in Dallas.
