Miss Rachel Christine Smith and Mr. Will Spencer Leaman were united in marriage on Saturday, June 2, 2001 at seven o'clock in the evening at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houston, Texas. Reverend Terence Brinkman performed the double ring ceremony. Scripture readings were given by the bride's great uncle, Harvey Smith and the groom's cousin, Jill Waters. Music was provided by vocalist and family friend, Reverend Susan Jones, organist Carolyn Maddox, and trumpeter Warren Maas. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Warwick. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Ouisie's Table.

The dropped waist bodice was adorned with a delicate floral design of crystals and pearls. The full satin skirt fell into a chapel length train which was framed by a cathedral length veil of soft ivory illusion. The bride's ensemble was complete with a matching crystal and pearl headpiece.

The flower girls were Miss Madeline Durrett, niece of the groom, Miss Sarah Stone and Miss Jennifer Stone, both cousins of the bride.

Mr. Peter McGowan of Dallas served as Best Man. The groomsmen were Mr. Taylor Beier of Dallas, Mr. Robert Smith, brother of the bride, of Lafayette, Louisiana, Mr. Derek Lynn of Roswell, Georgia, Mr. Chance Barr of Cunwoody, Georgia, Mr. Kevin Williams of Sugarland and Mr. Hill Norvell of Houston. Following a honeymoon to Hawaii on the islands of Maui and Kaui, the couple will be at home in Houston.
