Father John Robbins performed the double ring candlelight ceremony. Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at The Lancaster Hotel with music by Mr. Pink. A bridesmaid luncheon, hosted by the bride's sisters, was held at the Backstreet Café the day before the wedding. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at Brennan's Restaurant. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dominic H. Galante, Jr. of Houston. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Mahan and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dominic H. Galante, both of Youngstown, Ohio. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Hans Steyskal of Concord, Massachusetts. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anton Egger of Kremsmunster, Austria, and Mrs. Leopoldina Steyskal and the late Dr. Herbert Steyskal of Stockholm, Sweden. Miss Andrea Galante of Grapevine, Texas, served her sister as maid of honor and Mrs. Lori Galante Johnson of Houston served her sister as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Courtney Capshaw and Miss Sandra Steyskal. The candle lighter was Miss Elizabeth Galante, niece of the bride. Members of the bride's house party included Miss Tessa Chadwick, Mrs. Emily Higdon Collins, Mrs. Holley Hall Dean, Mrs. Kimberly O'Keefe Ferrovecchio and Miss Cathy Wald. Bridal attendants were Mrs. Nancy Galante, sister-in-law of the bride, Miss Caroline Gholson, niece of the bride, and Miss Julie Wallace. Attending the groom as best man was Mr. Peter Richardsson of Hull, Massachusetts. Groomsmen were Mr. Richmond Richardsson, Mr. Colin Crowley and Mr. Alex Eaton. The ushers were brother of the bride, Mr. Dominic H. Galante, III and Mr. F. Warren Mears. The bride is a graduate of Westfield High School in Houston. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She is currently employed by AIG Annuity Insurance Company. The groom is a graduate of Concord-Carlisle High School in Concord, Massachusetts. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut. He earned his Masters of Business Administration at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, and is currently employed by Puget Sound Energy. As the couple approaches their first anniversary, Wendy and Jörg will celebrate where they now reside in Seattle, Washington.
