Mr. Benjamin Jared Ross

Miss Jennifer Leigh Bouldin and Mr. Benjamin Jared Ross were united in marriage on Saturday, July 24, 2004 at seven o'clock in the evening at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Houston, Texas. The double ring ceremony was performed by Mr. Ronnie Norman of the First Colony Church of Christ in Sugar Land, Texas. Music for the ceremony was provided by Robert Bennett, organist, and Dave Zeger Strings. Following the ceremony the bride's parents hosted a seated dinner and dance at the Crystal Ballroom at The Rice. Guests were greeted by Trio Guadalajara and music was provided by Midstream.

On the day before the wedding, a Bridal Luncheon was hosted by close family friend, Ms. Suzanne George, at The Junior League of Houston. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a Rehearsal Dinner at the Cadillac Bar.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joel Ray Bouldin, Jr. of Sugar Land, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Ms. Emma Payne and the late Mr. Charles L. Payne, Mrs. Morine Bouldin, and the late Mr. Ray Bouldin, Sr. all of Houston, Texas. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edsel Odell Ross, Jr. of Missouri City, Texas. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Estes of Pasadena, Texas, and Mrs. Oma Buck Ross, and the late Mr. Edsel Ross, Sr. of Burnet, Texas.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a magnificent gown designed especially for her by Amsale of New York. The strapless gown of white duchess silk satin featured a dropped waist embellished with silver embroidered beading. The elegant skirt swept into a chapel length train showing matching silver embroidery. The ensemble was complemented by a rhinestone tiara attached to a fingertip veil scattered with Sworvorski crystals. The bride carried a bouquet of skyline, timeless, and vadella roses.

Miss Jessica Boudreau of Houston, Texas, and Miss Natalie Phillips of Miami, Florida, childhood friends of the bride, served as Maids of Honor. Bridesmaids included Miss Keri Bellacosa of San Antonio, Texas, Miss Andrea Crespo of Simsbury, Connecticut, Miss Jennifer Lindgren of Marietta, Georgia, Miss Jacqueline Moritz of Houston, Texas, Miss Emily Ross, sister of the groom, of Missouri City, Texas, and Miss Kathryn Sawyer of Houston, Texas. Junior Bridesmaid was Miss Michelle Wolff of Bryan, Texas. The Bridesmaids were dressed alike in floor length gowns of champagne European satin. They carried round bouquets of peach French tulips, lilies, hydrangea and roses.

Members of the Houseparty were Miss Stephanie Calvin of Missouri City, Texas, Miss Lauren Coppola of San Antonio, Texas, and Miss Blair Pittman of Corpus Christi, Texas. Serving as flower girls were Miss Regan Estes, Miss Elliot Estes, and Miss Shelby Estes, who carried white satin baskets of cream rose petals.

Mr. Ryan Knostman of Rockport, Texas and LCpl Jonathan Ross, brother of the groom, of Missouri City, Texas served as Best Men. Groomsman were Mr. Joel Bouldin, brother of the bride, of Sugar Land, Texas, Mr. Wes Carlisle of Sugar Land, Texas, Mr. Brian Grigsby of San Antonio, Texas, Mr. Matt Hadcock of Missouri City, Texas, Mr. Brad Levy of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Mr. James Rust of Dallas, Texas. Serving as Ring Bearer was Master T.J. Werner of Arlington, Virginia who carried a satin pillow. Serving as Ushers were Mr. Chris Beck of Kingwood, Texas, and Mr. David Crespo of Houston, Texas.

The Bride is a graduate of Clements High School in Sugar Land, Texas. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree with honors in Applied Learning and Development from the University of Texas at Austin, where she was a member of Delta, Delta, Delta sorority. She is a first grade teacher with Richardson Independent School District

The Groom is a graduate of Elkins High School in Missouri City, Texas. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration and Masters of Public Accounting from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. He was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity where he served as president. He is employed with Deloitte and Touch LLP in Dallas, Texas.

Following a honeymoon to Maui, Hawaii, the couple will reside in Dallas, Texas.
