Bernhardt - Capps
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bernhardt of Ione, CA along with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Capps of Milwaukee, Wisc., announce the marriage of their children, Michael Aaron Bernhardt, 24 and JoAnne Capps, 19.
The couple plans to be married in Mormon Temple in Chicago, Ill., on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003.
Michael is a native of Ione, where he attended Ione Elementary and Junior High, then went on to graduate from Argonaut High School in 1997.
He then served a two-year voluntary Mormon church mission in the Detroit, Mich., area.
After returning from his mission in 2000, he worked locally before moving to Utah, Louisiana and most recently, Rexburg, Idaho where he and JoAnne met.
JoAnne is an Idaho native, were she attended elementary and middle schools in Idaho Falls.
Her family moved to Wisconsin in 1999 where she graduated from Whitnal High School in 2002.
She received an academic scholarship and has been attending Brigham Young University, Idaho in Rexburg for the past 18 months.
After their honeymoon, the couple will return to Amador County to pursue their educational and vocational interests.
