Christine Pearl Runquist and Brandon Thomas Moniz, both of Pioneer, were married in a double ring ceremony on Saturday, July 24, 2004 at the Montevina Winery, Shenandoah Valley.
The daughter of Mike and Victoria Runquist of Pioneer, she is a 2003 graduate of Amador High School and is employed at Claypool's market in Pine Grove.
He is the son of Greg and Phyllis Moniz of Pioneer.
He graduated from Liberty High School in 2000.
He is employed at Ace Hardware in Pine Grove.
The maid of honor was Anna Oakes of Riverside.
Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Runquist and Geni McDougal.
Flower girls were Andrea Rubalcava and Marsha Runquist.
Best man was Mike Ashabran of Ione. Ushers were Sean Copeland and Andy Rubalcava.
Ring bearer was Alex Rubalcava.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Mike Runquist and the ceremony was performed by Pastor Gene Overstreet of the Sierra Baptist Church.
A reception was held for the newlyweds at the Montevina Winery.
The couple honeymooned at Disneyland and are making their home in Pioneer.
