The 2:00 p.m. ceremony was performed by Rev. Michael K. Atherton of Ft. Worth, TX. Parents of the couple are Tom and Elaine Peery of Center and Shannon and Sandy Johnson of rural Hannibal. Dean and Catherine Peery of Laddonia are grandparents of the bride. The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. Shammy Johnson, Hannibal, MO, sister of the groom, served as maid of honor. Bridesmatrons were Rachel Keesey, Tampa, FL and Ashley Lovelace, Mexico, MO. Bridesmaids included Vicky Scholes, Hannibal, MO and Amy Fisher, Columbia, MO. All are friends of the bridal couple. Best man was James Saucier, Bowling Green, MO. Groomsmen were Mike Keesey, Tampa, FL, Brent Dixon and Travis Dixon, Jefferson City, MO, all friends of the couple and John Johnson, Jefferson City, MO, cousin of the groom. Ushers were Lucas Peery, Jefferson City, MO, cousin of the bride, Bradley Raney, Hannibal, MO, friend of the couple, Gary Tucker, Ponca City, OK and Charles Johnson, Jefferson City, MO; both are uncles of the couple. The uncles also served as aisle runner attendants. Candlelighters were Lesa Swon, Center, MO, cousin of the bride, and Katy Winscott, Jefferson City, MO, cousin of the groom. Flower girl was Ashley Williams, cousin of the bride, daughter of John and Kim Williams of Ponca City, OK. Ben Johnson, cousin of the groom and son of John and Martha Johnson, Jefferson City, MO served as ring bearer. Guest book and program attendant was Heather Dixon, Jefferson City, MO. Satin roses containing rice were distributed by Aimee Eisele, Perry, MO and Kori Locke, Hannibal, MO, all friends of the couple. Sara Atherton, Ft. Worth, TX was soloist and musicians included Lola McDonald and Dawn Kiger, Center, MO, all friends of the couple, and Reanna Reinsel, Lee's Summit, MO, cousin of the bride. The bride's personal attendant was Stephanie Twyman, Hannibal, MO and Ron Evans, Center, MO served as sound technician. A buffet dinner reception served by Rob Miller, Hannibal, MO was held at the American Legion in Palmyra, MO. Servers included Betty Meyer, Center, MO and Linda Tucker, Ponca City, OK, both aunts of the bride, Susie Woolwine, Elkhart, IN, aunt of the groom, and Michelle Baze, Hannibal, MO, friend of the couple. Music was provided by Scott Laythom and Karl Holmes Duo from St. Louis, MO. The rehearsal dinner was held at the Quality Inn and Suites, Hannibal, hosted by the groom's parents. The bride is a 2000 graduate of Mark Twain High School in Center, MO and a 2004 graduate of Hannibal LaGrange College with a bachelor of science degree with majors in accounting and business administration with special emphasis in finance. She is employed by the Jefferson City Chamber of Commerce as an accounting assistant. The groom is a 1993 graduate of Hannibal High School and a 2000 graduate of Hannibal LaGrange College with a bachelor of science degree with a major in business administration with special emphasis in marketing. He is employed as manager of the Buckle at Capital Mall in Jefferson City, MO. The couple are residing in Jefferson City following a trip to the state of Louisiana. An additional trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico is planned for a later date.
