The bride, daughter of Mr. Stanley J. Wood and Dr. Ann Wood Schlesinger of Anderson Township, is a 1995 graduate of Ursuline Academy and a 1999 graduate of the Ohio State University, with a degree in Communication and Political Science.
She is employed by Wachovia Bank, Charlotte, North Carolina in Business Sales.
The groom, son of the late Mr. William Hendrix and Mrs. Ann Vipperman of Charlotte, North Carolina, is a 1996 graduate of South Mecklenburg High School and a 2000 graduate of High Point University, with a degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice.
He is a retail loan officer and Branch Manager for BB&T; Bank in Charlotte.
The bride's closest high school friend, Emily Moore of Cincinnati, was the maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Sally Kuss of Cleveland, Darci Davis of Cincinnati, Jill Beierlein of Cincinnati, Sara Ruffner of Cincinnati, and Ronessa Wilchek of Columbus.
Beth Campbell of Charlotte did the reading during the ceremony.
Mark Hendrix, brother of the groom, was the best man.
Groomsmen were Jonathan Wood, brother of the bride, of Cincinnati, Matt Benford of Winston-Salem, Chris Vocke of Greensboro, John Long of Greensboro, and Michael Suggs of Highpoint.
After of honeymoon in Sandestin, Florida, the couple resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.
