They met while working at Procter & Gamble and were married September 11, 1954 in Perrysburg, Ohio. They are the parents of Tracy Croop of Eastgate, Leslie Kohler of Kettering, Ohio, and Dr. David Croop of Anderson. They are the grandparents of Rachel and Jeremy Kohler, and Justin and Jordan Croop. Ray retired from Procter & Gamble in 1984. They have lived in their Kenwood Home since 1964. He traveled extensively developing market research processes before retiring in 1984. After retirement, Ray was a consultant and volunteer and enjoyed time with his family and friends, the game of golf, and tending to his home and flowers. Ray requested there be no funeral services and wished that in lieu of flowers friends would contribute to Hospice of Cincinnati or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his honor.
