(Obituary of Marguerite Patterson: "Marguerite Patterson - Marguerite Devoted Mother and Wife Age 78, of Horseheads, NY, passed away on Thursday December 9, 2004, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Marguerite was born on May 31, 1926, the daughter of the late Theodore and Stella Lis Lutomski. She worked for the Horseheads Central School District at Broad Street School for 10 years although her most enjoyable role was that of wife, and mother to her seven children. Predeceasing her are her brothers, sister; and first husband, Benedict Cesare. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 53 years, Robert Patterson of Horseheads, NY; children, Joseph R. (Anne Marie) Cesare of Noblesville, IN, Michol A. Cesare of Cockeysville, MD, Barbara J. (Dave) Root of Horseheads, NY, Denny (Wallace) McCloud of Santa Ana, CA, Scott R. (Victoria) Patterson of Horseheads, NY, Jeffrey M. (Kimberly) Patterson of Elmira, NY, and Lee M. Franklin St. at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY, 739-2035, on Sunday December 12, 2004, from 1-4 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday December 13, 2004, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Our Mother Church, 816 W. Broad Street, Horseheads, NY. Rev. Robert MacNamara will be the officiant. Interment will be held at St. Peter and Paul's Cemetery, Elmira, NY, immediately following. (Obituary or Robert Patterson: "Robert M. Patterson, 1926 - 2016, PATTERSON, Robert M. of Horseheads, NY passed away after a brief illness on Sunday afternoon, June 5, 2016 at the age of 90. Bob was born on February 4, 1926 in Elmira, NY, son of the late Morton and Julia Dobberstein Patterson. Bob served his country honorably in the US Navy during World War II, where he learned the electrician trade. He worked for over 40 years and taught many young apprentices his craft. Bob was a proud member of IBEW Local 139 for 69 years and also worked as a stagehand well into his retirement. He was a life member of the Sayre Elks, VFW, the Loyal Order of the Moose and a charter member of the Lifetimer's club. Bob was blessed with 53 years of marriage to his beloved Maggie. He was happiest when with his family, especially on the shores of Keuka Lake. He loved a good euchre game, a cold brew, fishing and his many grandchildren. "Chuck", as he was affectionately known, was loved by all. His quick wit was unmatched and was with him to the end. He will truly be missed by all those whose lives he touched throughout his ninety year journey. He is pre-deceased by his wife, Marguerite E. Lutomski Patterson and sisters, Katherine Jane Steele and Joyce Burns. He is survived by his children, Joseph R. (Anne Marie) Cesare of Noblesville, IN, Michol. A.
