Hassler - Beggs
Butler residents Christina Hassler and Daniel Beggs exchanged wedding vows at 3:30 p.m. May 24 at Christ’s Outreach Church in Butler. The Rev. David West officiated. A reception was held in Coleman Hall at Tanglewood Center.
The bride is the daughter of Edgar and Connie Hassler of Butler. The bridegroom is the son of Barbara Beggs of Prospect and the late Leonard Beggs.
Honor attendant was Sonya Hassler of Butler. Bridesmaids were Heather Raine of Prospect; Noel Bauman of Erie; Rona Warner of Fishers, Ind.; and Nikita Hassler and Chere Hassler, both of Butler. The flower girls were Amanda Hassler of Butler and Ashley Raine of Prospect.
Performing the duties of best man was Timothy Bauer of Butler. Ushers were Timothy Beggs, Mark Beggs and Allen Hassler, all of Butler; Shawn Blystone of Madison, Wis.; and Brett Hoffman of Frederick, Md. The ring bearer was Zachary Hassler of Butler.
The bride graduated in 1990 from Butler High School and in 1995 from Geneva College. She works for First National Bank of Slippery Rock, Wealth Management Group in Slippery Rock.
The bridegroom also graduated in 1990 from BHS. He attended Penn State University and served in the United States Marine Corps. He works for Carmeuse North America in Pittsburgh.
The couple honeymooned on the Turks and Caicos Islands and lives in Butler.
