ADAMS 50th ANNIVERSARY
NEW BETHLEHEM - Robert and Della Adams of New Bethlehem celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 27 with family and friends at the New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church.
Robert Adams married Della Smith on June 25, 1954, in the Glade Run Presbyterian Church in Dayton with the Rev. Thorbun Stull officiating. Rev. Stull and his wife attended the Adams' anniversary celebration.
Mrs. Adams is the daughter of the late Roland and Grace Smith of Dayton. Mr. Adams is the son of Helen Adams of Hawthorn and the late Lawrence Adams.
Mr. Adams is retired from Tionesta Sand and Gravel after 41 years of employment.
Mr. and Mrs. Adams enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren and gardening. Della enjoys bowling. They are members of the New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church.
The couple have four children, Darla Hinderliter and her husband, Russell, of New Bethlehem; Kent Adams and his wife, Pam, of Mayport; Brenda Shank and her husband, Tim, of Palmer Lake, Colo.; and Kevin Adams and his wife, Linda, of Mayport.
The Adams' also have nine grandchildren, Amber Linscott and her husband, Bob, of Anchorage, Alaska; Lauren Adams, Paige Adams, Dustin Adams, Bobby Adams and Wendy Adams all of Mayport; Diana Shank of Palmer Lake, Colo.; and Jake Hinderliter and Luke Hinderliter of New Bethlehem.
The anniversary party was hosted by the Adams' children.
