Vows exchanged by Westhoff and Wheater
Dana Nicole Westhoff and Scott Daniel Wheater, both of LeGrand, were united in marriage on Nov. 30, 2002, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Dillon with the Rev. Fred Berry officiating.
Parents of the couple are James and Wanda Westhoff of Bloomfield, the late Donna Westhoff, Linda Wheater of LeGrand and the late Dan Wheater.
The bride wore a floor-length gown of white crepe and chiffon. The gown featured an empire waistline and a scoop neckline accented by starburst beading. The flowing angel sleeves of chiffon fell gently with the skirt.
Jody Seeley was matron of honor. The bride was also attended by Jodi Wheater, Lisa Findley, Amy Champoux and Kim Juel.
Mark Willett was best man. Other groomsmen were Jeff Shaw, Jason Stevens, Jon Wolken and Brad Neuroth.
Other wedding attendants included April Gruver, Joani Westhoff, Janet Westhoff and ushers Jason Westhoff, Darin Westhoff, Mark Bethel and Pete Peterson. Beverly Grove was the organist for the ceremony.
A reception at the Lincoln Valley Golf Course followed the ceremony. Joy Fields, Erin Fields, Russ and Ellen Mann, Morris and Lynda Wolken and Jim and Linda Wolken assisted with the reception.
Following a wedding trip to Orlando, Fla., the couple is making their home at 302 East Dawn Street, LeGrand, IA.
The bride is a 1990 graduate of Iowa State University and is employed as a second grade teacher at East Marshall Elementary, in LeGrand.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Simpson College and is employed as a teacher and coach in the East Marshall School District.
