Kuti - Frahm

Michelle Lori Kuti of Fort Calhoun and Brian Jonathan Frahm of Plainview were married Saturday, May 23, 1998, at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Omaha.

Rev. Gierke of Omaha and Vicar Lonnie Jacobsen of St. Louis, Mo. officiated at the 2:30 p.m. double - ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are John and Sharon Kuti of Fort Calhoun and Jack and Diann Frahm of Plainview.

Grandparents of the bride are George and Lorraine Kuti of Omaha and Melvin and Lila Ottemann of Elk Creek.

Grandparents of the bridegroom are Esther Frahm and Forrest and Lorene Couchman of Plainview.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

The bodice of the her gown was heavily beaded and fitted around the waist with the long sleeves extending to a delicate V - neckline.

Lace and pearls adorned the skirt which was gradually raised in the front and back.

The royal cathedral train was decorated with lace and pearls and two large roses at the top of the bustle.

A white wreath of roses, pearls, sequins, lace and netting in the back held the waist - length veil. A decorated pouf of netting was attached to the wreath.

She carried a cascade bouquet of white roses, pink and white stargazer lilies and white freesia accented with trailing English ivy and silver ribbon.

Heather Kuti of Fort Calhoun was the maid of honor for her sister.

Bridesmaids were Andrea Ottemann of Johnson, cousin of the bride; Jacquie Frahm of Lincoln, the groom's sister; Heather Lickei of Blair; Shelly Osentowski of Elkhorn and Angie Neal of Omaha.

They wore royal blue chiffon sleeveless dresses and carried pink stargazer with French wire ribbon.

The bridegroom's cousin, Wyatt Frahm of Omaha, served as best man.

Groomsmen were Tim Hoffman, Bill Demerath and Brian Steinkraus, all of Plainview; Brian Kuti of Lincoln, the bride's brother; and Aaron Mattson of Loveland, Colo.

Amanda Volksen was the flower girl. Sean Suelter carried the rings.

Brad Badertscher, Jeff Ottemann, Wade Frahm and Ward Frahm were ushers.

The bridegroom and ring bearer wore tuxedos with mandarin collars, silver and black Everglades vests and banded shirts.

The attendants and ushers wore tuxedos with double - breasted coats and silver and black vests and ties.

Shannon Hunter and Matt Kuti lit candles.

Amy Duncan was the bride's personal attendant.

Michael Kesar was the organist and Mark Witt played the trumpet.

Soren Schmidt was the vocalist.

A dinner, reception and dance followed at the Best Western Regency West in Omaha.

Hosts were Jerry and Pat Frahm and Ken and Annette Ottemann.

Judy Hansen, Joan Alexander and Joyce Badertscher served cake.

Robin Mackey presided at the guest book.

The couple participated in Bike Ride Across Nebraska in June for their honeymoon.

They are at home in Omaha.

The bride is a 1995 graduate of Burke High School in Omaha and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in nursing.

The bridegroom is a 1995 graduate of Plainview High School and is a senior at Dana College in Blair.
