The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Louis Hug of Seattle, Washington. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John William Sutcliffe of Okotoks, Alberta, Canada, and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Fritz Hug of Cawston, British Columbia, Canada. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Clifton Bailey junior of Rocky Mount. He is the grandson of Mrs. Dorothy Zimmerman Barnhill of Tarboro and the late Mr. Robert Edward Barnhill senior, and Mrs. Anne Weaver Bailey of Rocky Mount and the late Mr. Clyde Clifton Bailey senior. Tara Rae Lommel of Seattle, Washington, and Emilie Claire Van Dyke of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, friends of the bride, served as maids of honor. The bridesmaids were Natasha Lee Christman of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Jamie Lee Clark of Huntingtown, Maryland, Jennifer Lynn Collins of Seattle, Katherine Lynn Nielsen of Durham, and Tara Lynn Tomlinson of Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada, friends of the bride; and Morgan Bailey Morgan of Raleigh, sister of the groom. Elizabeth Leigh Edwards of Charlotte, cousin of the groom, and Riley Michelle Levers of Seattle, friend of the bride, served as flower girls. Clyde Clifton Bailey junior served as his son's best man. The groomsmen were John Austin Barnhill of Raleigh, cousin of the groom; Thomas Meredith Bolton III of South Bend, Indiana, Benjamin Judd Collins of Charlotte, Jeffrey Hampton Hendrick and William Scott Tillman of Raleigh, Andrew William Kinghorn of Chapel Hill, Evan Patterson Lennon of Boca Raton, Florida, Timothy Carl Smith junior of Rocky Mount, and Leslie Bryant Stone of Richmond, Virginia, friends of the groom; Michael Joseph Hug of Seattle, Washington, brother of the bride; and Douglas Bishop Morgan of Raleigh, brother-in-law of the groom. Payton Warner Randolph of Waterbury, Vermont, and Jacob McCormick Edwards of Charlotte, cousins of the groom, served as ring bearers. Harpist Anita Burroughs Price and soloist Hillary Jensen provided music. The bride graduated in 2002 from Bellevue College in Seattle, Washington, with a degree in Business, and in 2003 from Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, California. She is a gemologist. The groom graduated in 2002 from Elon College with a degree in Business, and in 2003 from Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, California. He is a gemologist. After a honeymoon trip to Cape Cod and Nantucket, Massachusetts, the couple will live in Raleigh and join the family company, Bailey's Fine Jewelry, after completing internships in New Orleans, Louisiana.
