Wright - Fleming
Constance Louise Fleming and Andrew MacNaughton Wright were married October 13, 2007 at half after five o'clock in the afternoon at The Village Chapel in Pinehurst. Reverend Mark A. Storz officiated in the double ring ceremony with the bride's minister the Reverend Doctor David M. Helms of Southern Pines. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Country Club of North Carolina. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Robert Alexander Bowness of Pinehurst and the late Mr. Ernest Iredell Fleming, III. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. James Wayne Davis of Stanley and the late Mr. Hubert Maxton Craig, Jr., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Iredell Fleming, Jr. of Rocky Mount. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Howard Wright of Charlottesville, Virginia. He is the grandson of Mr. Alexander MacNaughton Wood of Chapel Hill and the late Mrs. Gertrude Dickey Wood, and Mrs. Betty Wilson Wright of Orange, Virginia and Mr. Emmett Womack Wright, Jr. The bride wore an ivory French Alenon lace strapless empire A-line gown accompanied by a family heirloom veil of imported Brussels' lace and her grandmother's prayer book adorned with white orchids. Miss Sarah Katherine Upchurch of Raleigh was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids included Miss Caitlin Amelia Bowness of Southern Pines, sister of the bride; Miss Mollie Paige Bowness of New York, New York, sister of the bride; Miss Stacy McLellan Cowherd of Chapel Hill; Mrs. Christine West Hall of Cary; Mrs. Mariette Huntley Roland of Raleigh; Miss Jordan Logan Simpson of Fort Myers, Florida; and Miss Kathryn Elizabeth Turnage of Dallas, Texas. The bridesmaids wore black tea-length, high neck style dresses with a net veiled neckline and sash. The best man was the groom's father. The groomsmen included Mr. Brian Alexander Wright of Charlottesville, Virginia, brother of the groom; Mr. Mathew Keith Cromer of Raleigh; Mr. Jeremy Thomas LeMaster of Morganton; Mr. Garrett Curtis Martinez of Port Washington, New York; and, Mr. Michael Thomas Moore of Centreville, Virginia. A rehearsal dinner at The Holly Inn was hosted by the groom's parents. The bride graduated from Wake Forest University and teaches Spanish at Cardinal Gibbons High School. She was presented at the 2000 Terpsichorean Club Debutante Ball in Raleigh. The groom graduated from High Point University and is employed as a sales manager at Four Rivers Peterbilt, Inc. After a honeymoon trip to Jamaica, the couple will reside in Raleigh.
