Hulshof - Hennemann

PORTAGEVILLE - Diana Patricia Hulshof and Joe Hennemann were married in a 1:30 p.m. ceremony June 16, 2001, at St. Eustachius Catholic Church. The Rev. Dave Hulshof of Springfield, brother of the bride, served as celebrant with the Rev. Mike Swalina of New Madrid and Monsignor Bill Stanton of Cape Girardeau assisting. Lectors were Logan Haines of Sikeston, nephew of the bride, and Dionne Craig of St. Louis, friend of the bride, Craig Heisserer of Benton, friend of the bridegroom, and Jamie Steiger of Springfield, friend of the bride.

Pianist Katie Fennewald of St. Louis, cousin of the bride, and organist Gary Clark of Caruthersville provided music for the occasion with soloist Renee Reinagel of Kelso, cousin of the bridegroom.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a princess A-line gown of white dulciana satin with a banded, fitted midriff waist. The sleeveless gown featured a scoop neckline encircled with self-fabric piping and a keyhole back with single button closure. A dulciana satin band accented the bottom of the gown and the chapel-length detachable train.

The bride wore opera-length satin gloves and the fingertip double tiered veil of white illusion was secured with a headpiece of satin, pearl and crystal beaded accents. Her diamond and pearl earrings were a gift from the bridegroom.

Mary Schaff of Chicago, Ill., attended her sister as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Janet Haines of Sikeston and Karen Masterson of St. Louis, sisters of the bride, Tracy Dumey of Benton and Angie Hennemann of St. Louis, sisters of the bridegroom, Robin Hulshof of St. Louis, cousin of the bridegroom and Millie Kellams of Portageville, friend of the bride. Jennifer Haines of Sikeston, niece of the bride was junior bridesmaid and Brooke Masterson of St. Louis, niece of the bride and daughter of Rob and Karen Masterson, was flower girl.

Darren Allen of St. Louis served his friend as best man. Groomsmen were Shane McVay of St. Louis, cousin of the bridegroom, Derek Dirnberger of St. Louis, friend of the bridegroom, Randy Hulshof of Portageville, brother of the bride, Chad Schott of Perkins, friend of the bridegroom, Patrick Hulshof of St. Louis, cousin of the bride and Sean Stuckey of Columbia, friend of the bridegroom. Coby Holland of Benton, nephew of the bridegroom, was junior groomsman and ring bearer was Luke Haines of Sikeston, nephew of the bride and son of Lee and Janet Haines.

Honorary ring bearers were Alex Schaff and Ryan Masterson, nephews of the bride and Noah Gartman and Collin Dumey, nephews of the bridegroom.

Serving as ushers were Lee Haines of Sikeston, Rob Masterson of St. Louis and Tom Schaff of Chicago, brothers-in-law of the bride, Danny Dumey of Benton, brother-in-law of the bridegroom and Mike McVay of Oran and Kent Schott of Cape Girardeau, cousins of the bridegroom.

Guest book attendants were Jennifer Wells of Houston, Texas, and Ashli Steward of Sikeston, friends of the bride. Corrie White and Missy Long of Portageville, friends of the bride, were program attendants.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at the University of Missouri Rone Hall in Portageville, where Maria Brown of Nashville, Tenn., and Becky Brown of Somerville, Mass., cousins of the bride, served as cake attendants.

After a wedding trip to Ocho Rios Dunn's River, Jamaica, Mr. and Mrs. Hennemann are residing in Cape Girardeau.
