Dahle - Bartmess
Susie Reynolds Dahle and Allen Michael Bartmess were united in marriage Saturday, June 19, 2004, at the Dahle's lake house. Everette Chapman officiated. Following the ceremony, the reception was held on the terrace of the Lake Lure Golf and Beach Resort. On Friday evening, the rehearsal dinner was held in the dining room of the Lake Lure Golf and Beach Resort, hosted by Florence Bartmess, mother of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of David and Peggy Dahle of Hickory, N.C. She is the granddaughter of Charles and Rose Reynolds and the late Don and Helen Dahle. She is a registered nurse with Moses Cone Hospital.
The groom is the son of Florence Murray Bartmess of Gibsonville, N.C. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Allen and Pauline Hicks Murray. He is employed by UPS in Greensboro.
The bride was attended by her sister Shannon Jordan of Newport News, Va. as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mary Andrews of Hilton Head, S.C., cousin of the bride, Gretchen Boston of Hickory, N.C., Alison Bagwell of Cumming, Ga. and DeAnna Marsh of Trinity, N.C. Anna Jordan of Newport News, Va., niece of the bride, was the flower girl.
The groom chose John Wadiak of Jamestown and Mike Johnson of Burlington as best men. Groomsmen were Clifton Townes of Greensboro, Joe Dimidio of Jamestown, David Dahle, Jr. of Park City, Utah, brother of the bride, and Stephen Jordan of Newport News, Va., nephew of the bride.
The couple will reside in Browns Summit, N.C.
