Harrell - Horsley
Holly Rene Horsley and Kevin Michael Harrell were married at six o'clock in the evening on Saturday, November 10, 2007, at Myers Park United Methodist Church in Charlotte. Reverend William Errett Roth officiated. A reception followed at Charlotte Country Club. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Axon Horsley of Duluth, Georgia. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Harry Horsley of Birmingham, England, the late Mr. Donald Scherbarth of Cleveland, Ohio, and the late Mrs. Betty Bell of Port St. Lucie, Florida. A graduate of the Westminster Schools, Holly earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt and is employed by RT Dooley. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Ronnie Harrell of Raleigh. He is the grandson of Mrs. Lena Smith Harrell of Edenton, the late Mr. Jesse Leo Harrell of Edenton, Mrs. Barbara Ramsey Walker of Raleigh, and the late Mr. Robert Moore Walker of Asheville. A graduate of Needham B. Broughton, Kevin earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is employed by Wachovia. The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. The bride's sister, Heather Horsley Cox of Alpharetta, Georgia, served as matron of honor, and the groom's sister, Katherine Elizabeth Harrell of Raleigh, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kathryn Garland Askins of Charlotte; Abbie Sagar Plonk of Winston-Salem; Mary Whitfield Plyler, Ioana Alina Stanescu, and Rachael Anna Felker of San Francisco, California; Anna Rebecca McCutchen of Los Angeles, California; Parmelee Haslam Shuford of New York, New York; and McCall Ann Merchant of Boston, Massachusetts. The flower girl was the bride's niece, Madelyn Sue Cox of Alpharetta. The groom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were Cameron Moore Harrell, Graham Lawrence Roberts, Thaddeus Jones Barringer, III, and George Bradley Hearn of Raleigh; John Banister Hyde of New Bern; Benjamin Edward Brosseau of San Diego, California; Tanner Gray Robinson of Winston-Salem; John Brent Peinhardt of Birmingham, Alabama; and Nathan Hamilton Calloway of Boston, Massachusetts. The ring bearer was the bride's nephew, Lawton Anthony Cox of Alpharetta, Georgia. Program Attendants were Erin Whitney Phillips of Charlotte; Andrea Elizabeth Fuller of Charlottesville, Virginia; and Brandy Suzanne Kretz of San Diego, California. Scripture Readers were Elizabeth Peyton Williams of New York, New York, and Hartwell Lamar Roberts of Telluride, Colorado. Following a honeymoon in Tahiti, the couple will reside in Charlotte.
