Jones - Harward
Tracy Elizabeth Harward and Charles Nicholas Jones were married on November 10, 2007 at three o'clock in the afternoon at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Raleigh. A reception hosted by the bride's parents followed the ceremony at The State Club in the Roy and Dorothy Park Alumni Center on the Centennial Campus of North Carolina State University. The Reverend Mike Nevling officiated the double ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Melvin Harward, Jr. of Raleigh. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Lewis Norwood of Henderson and the late Mrs. Nannie Melvin Gill of Zebulon, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ruben P. Wilder of Raleigh. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lynwood Jones of Sanford. He is the grandson of Mrs. Mildred Ward Lee of Washington and the late Mr. Ralph Arnette Lee, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Preston Jones of Sanford. Lindsay McNeil Sutton served as the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Meredith Allen Brown and Stephanie Allen Brown, cousins of the bride; and Allee Elizabeth Byrd, Kimberly Anne Shirling, Jamie Dunn Zinn, Mary League Hedgepeth, Nicole Joy Temple, Kristin Marie Wittenborn and Elizabeth Kelly Smith. Grayson Peal Norwood, cousin of the bride, served as flower girl. The groom's father served as his best man. Groomsmen were Trent Lee Jones, brother of he groom; Ralph Arnette Lee, III, cousin of the groom; and Donnie Ray Sullivan, Jr., Benjamin Paul Davies, Jonathan Michael Ogintz, Travis Robert Cartwright, Justin Brent Smith, Seth Thompson Womble and Ewell Travis Robeson, Jr. Boley Alston Norwood, cousin of the bride, served as ring bearer. Wilson Bruce Barnes and John Christopher Barnes, cousins of the bride, served as ushers. Scripture readers were Candice Marie Williams and Elizabeth Hodges Perkins, cousin of the groom. Program attendants were Mary Blair Ange and Shelley Diane Broschinski. Guestbook attendants were Emily Scronce Jones, sister-in-law of the groom, and Millie Hodges Massey, cousin of the groom. Patricia Lynn Barnes, aunt of the bride, and Mary Carlyle Allen Brown, cousin of the bride, were greeters. On Friday morning a bridesmaids' luncheon was hosted by Valerie Sutton, Marie Byrd and Joanne Wittenborn at Caff Luna. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the parents of the groom at Winston's Grill on Friday evening. The bride graduated from Meredith College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and is employed by the YMCA of the Triangle as a Youth Director for the Lee County YMCA. The groom graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Textile Technology and is employed as Operations Manager for Special Effects Interiors in Clayton. After a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Raleigh.
